Version "The Legend Of Njai Loro Kidoel"
by Inten Bayan, published by Moesson, the Netherlands

AT THAT MOMENT THE SHIVERING BEGAN!
Tremendously and violently!!
'Nung had to catch  herself together.
And there she came. In the distance far away the water began to rise...as high as a mountain...
The superwave approached at full speed...She watched her Mistress...
Was she unaware of it? Did she realize what was happening? How frightful, how terrifying!
She cried for her, but her voice got taken aback by the roar...
The ocean seemed snap away parts of the land...from the left and from the right...
it disappeared into the sea by thundering violence...the wild waves lashed the shore and
pounded away...As far as...the place on the little beach!
AT THAT MOMENT SHE SAW THE INCREDIBLE:
The water turned into a giant shell and took...yes...just took up the Ratu...
the water took her away..."Bye 'Nung!" she heard in the roar..Wow..she even lifted up one hand...
Desperately and in deep grieve 'Nung saw how
SHE DISAPPEARED INTO THE DEPTH OF THE OCEAN.

TOEN KWAM DE BEVING! Hevig! 'Noeng greep zich toen ijlings vast
Heel in de verte rees het water, o, zo hoog wel als een berg!
De golf kwam aan met snelle vaart...Zij zag haar meesteres...
Was die zich wel bewust van het gevaar? Wat was dat erg!
Ze riep haar, maar haar stem werd overdonderd door 't  geraas...
De zee scheen links en rechts te "happen"; grote stukken land
verdwenen donderend in zee...Het woeste water beukt'

One of the most symbolical representations of the fate and destiny from Nyai Loro Kidul you can
find in the little book "The legend from Njai Loro Kidoel" by Inten Bayan aka René Adeboi who
passed away Juin 16th 1992. The tellings are written in poetic form and try almost desperately to announce
the royal Queen had no other choise to abandon herself to the supernatural cosmic
Law of the Universe. So she did not commit suicide, definitely not, and still is waiting until
the tidings for a glorious ...COME BACK!
Maybe it is the myth of the future Ratu Adil, Queen of Justice,
reinforced by Pangeran Diponegoro
a legendary, Javanese prince who opposed the Dutch colonial rule.
I read the fabulous myth of Astraea/Astrea/Astria, the celestial virgin,
or virgin goddess of innocence and purity
always associated with the Greek Goddess of Justice!
The symbols drip down every word, every gesture and even every mention.
The symbols are referring back to universal perspectives all around.
The manifesto of the SOUTH-SEA GODDESS is of a represent imagination coming out
of an improbable origin of a human source,
which is as material as the Rock Gibraltar surrounding by the sound of sea-whales
or the divine colour of a butterfly.
To this very day to-day!!!
Like the miraculous power of a Divine Cosmic,
of She Who Alters... into a Cosmic Divine !
And became her own nyai, the mystery of the concubine ...

Fantastic version with a lot of interviews in this writing by Judith Schlehe

NOOIT ZULLEN DE VERHALEN OVER HAAR VOORSTELLING OOIT VERSTOMMEN...
THE TELLINGS ABOUT HER MANIFESTATION WILL NEVER EVER GONNA STOP ...
